Guidory turns a representative sample of stored YouTube analysis into a consistent Parent Score. It is a decision aid for parents, not a promise about every moment of a video or channel.
The Parent Score
The 0–100 Parent Score is the same for every visitor. It combines five universal pillars so parents can compare a video or channel using one consistent frame of reference.
- Child appropriateness. Language, themes, and situations are considered for the likely age range.
- Family compatibility. The universal read considers whether content is broadly suitable for family viewing.
- Content quality. Guidory looks for substance, clarity, creativity, and constructive value.
- Overstimulation. Pacing, intensity, repetition, and attention demands are part of the read.
- Consistency. A representative sample helps distinguish a reliable pattern from a single upload.
What AI does here
AI helps summarize patterns in the stored content sample. Structured scoring rules keep the output organized and comparable. Guidory does not claim that an AI read can replace a parent’s judgment.
Analyses have limits: samples can miss context, YouTube content changes, and a score is not a guarantee of safety, quality, or suitability.
Parent Score vs Family Fit
Parent Score is the universal read. Family Fit is a separate, personalized interpretation that uses the preferences a family chooses, such as pacing, advertising, or learning focus. It does not change the underlying content analysis or Parent Score.
You can try family preferences without an account in Guidory’s web experience. An account is useful when you want to save and sync those preferences across devices.
